“In accordance with the provisions of § 14 of Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on consumer protection, we inform you that in the event of a dispute between a client and a lawyer, the consumer has the right to an out-of-court settlement of this dispute resulting from the contract for the provision of legal services. The authorized entity for the out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes between a lawyer and a client who is in the position of a consumer from contracts for the provision of legal services is the Czech Lawyer Association.

There is no charge for out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes and the parties bear the costs themselves. The out-of-court settlement of a consumer dispute will be initiated on the basis of a consumer’s proposal, which must contain the elements that, together with the proposal form and other information on out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes, can be found on the CAK website.”
